The 100% pure Mulberry silk lining gently caresses your delicate eye area, helping to keep your face hydrated throughout the night and minimising creases around the eyes. Unlike cotton, silk won't absorb the nourishing ingredients from your night creams, allowing them to work their magic as you rest, making this the ideal silk sleep mask for your skincare routine.

For selected styles, we work with surplus and deadstock fabrics to give high-quality textiles new life and reduce unnecessary waste.

Fabric & Care

This handcrafted silk sleep mask is made from surplus Italian wool and linen tweed, the finest fabrics given a second life rather than going to waste.

The exterior is a luxurious blend of 58% wool and 42% linen, sourced from Italian surplus stock. The lining is 100% pure Mulberry silk, with an inner layer of natural wool that acts as a soft insulator.

Silk, linen and wool are entirely natural fibres, breathable and temperature-regulating by nature, keeping you cool when you need it and warm when you don't.

This sustainable sleep mask can be washed on a wool or silk programme at a maximum of 30°C using a specialist wool and silk detergent. Do not tumble dry. Lay flat or hang to dry away from direct sunlight. Iron on low heat if needed.

Kapsaliana is a restored Cretan village in the mountains above Rethymno, a place of old stone walls, vast open sky and olive groves that have been growing for longer than anyone can quite account for. On a family holiday at the Kapsaliana Village Hotel, nested in the quiet of the hillside, the particular quality of rest that belongs to ancient places became very clear.

No hurry. No noise. Just warmth, and time, and the sound of the wind through the trees.

The woven exterior carries the colours of the landscape around it. Deep navy and dark brown echo the Aegean at depth and the ancient rock of the hillside, while the ice blue threads running through the geometric pattern reflect the shimmering light on the water and the vast open sky above. The pale ice blue edging ties it together with a quiet precision that feels entirely right.
