The 100% pure Mulberry silk lining gently caresses your delicate eye area, helping to keep your face hydrated throughout the night and minimising creases around the eyes. The Beauty Sleeper is designed in Copenhagen and handcrafted by a small family-run sewing studio in Shanghai, world-renowned for its long tradition of working with silk.

We believe in fewer, better things: products made to last, not to be replaced. Each sleep mask is carefully finished by hand, combining Scandinavian simplicity with generations of silk expertise.

For selected styles, we work with surplus and deadstock fabrics to give high-quality textiles new life and reduce unnecessary waste.

Fabric & Care

This handcrafted silk sleep mask is made from surplus Italian wool and linen tweed, the finest fabrics given a second life rather than going to waste.

The exterior is a luxurious blend of 58% wool and 42% linen, sourced from Italian surplus stock. The lining is 100% pure Mulberry silk, with an inner layer of natural wool that acts as a soft insulator.

Silk, linen and wool are entirely natural fibres, breathable and temperature-regulating by nature, keeping you cool when you need it and warm when you don't.

This sustainable sleep mask can be washed on a wool or silk programme at a maximum of 30°C using a specialist wool and silk detergent. Do not tumble dry. Lay flat or hang to dry away from direct sunlight. Iron on low heat if needed.

The Beauty Sleeper Story

The Beauty Sleeper began with a simple desire to create a sleep mask beautiful enough to leave on the bed rather than hide in a drawer.

What started as a personal search for better sleep soon became a collection of thoughtfully crafted sleep essentials, inspired by travel, beautiful interiors and the small rituals that help us rest.

Today, our Silk Sleep Masks remain at the heart of everything we do. Each one is handmade in small quantities by skilled hands, combining traditional craftsmanship with the kind of quiet, considered design that lasts not just a season, but years.

Inspired by Crudwell

Inspired by a long weekend at The Rectory Hotel in the village of Crudwell, a small boutique hotel that was once home to the local rector and his fourteen children.

We arrived to tea and scones by a crackling open fireplace, and spent our days walking green country paths, listening to birds in the garden and falling asleep to the sound of absolute quiet. Every night I opened the window to let the fresh countryside air in before bed, and slept better than I had in a very long time.

The Cotswolds reminded me that living in the heart of Copenhagen has many advantages, but we pay for them with daily noise, light and pollution. The Crudwell sleep mask and hot water bottles were born from that feeling, of stepping away, breathing deeply and truly resting.
