Craftsmanship

The Beauty Sleeper is designed in Copenhagen and handcrafted by a small family-run sewing studio in Shanghai, world-renowned for its long tradition of working with silk.

We believe in fewer, better things: products made to last, not to be replaced. Each sleep mask is carefully finished by hand, combining Scandinavian simplicity with generations of silk expertise.

For selected styles, we work with surplus and deadstock fabrics to give high-quality textiles new life and reduce unnecessary waste.

Fabric & Care

This handcrafted luxury hot water bottle cover is made from surplus Italian wool and linen tweed, the finest fabrics given a second life rather than going to waste.

The exterior is a luxurious blend of 58% wool and 42% linen, sourced from Italian surplus stock. The lining is 100% pure Mulberry silk, with an inner layer of natural wool that acts as a soft insulator, holding warmth gently against the body.

Silk, linen and wool are entirely natural fibres, breathable and temperature-regulating by nature, helping to distribute warmth evenly and hold it for longer, so you stay comfortably warm without overheating.

The cover can be washed on a wool or silk programme at a maximum of 30°C using a specialist wool and silk detergent. Do not tumble dry. Lay flat or hang to dry away from direct sunlight. Iron on low heat if needed. Do not submerge the rubber bottle.

Inspired by Crudwell

Inspired by a long weekend at The Rectory Hotel in the village of Crudwell, a small boutique hotel that was once home to the local rector and his fourteen children.
We arrived to tea and scones by a crackling open fireplace, and spent our days walking green country paths, listening to birds in the garden and falling asleep to the sound of absolute quiet.
Every night I opened the window to let the fresh countryside air in before bed, and slept better than I had in a very long time.
The Cotswolds reminded me that living in the heart of Copenhagen has many advantages, but we pay for them with daily noise, light and pollution. The Crudwell sleep mask and hot water bottles were born from that feeling, of stepping away, breathing deeply and truly resting.

Is the Silk Cover Removable?

Yes. The silk cover is removable, so the hot water bottle insert can be taken out before washing or airing the cover. It opens at the top and is designed with an internal pocket that covers the neck of the bottle, helping the insert sit securely and remain fully covered. Finished with a ribbon closure, it is easy to remove while keeping the overall look soft, considered and elegant.

How Does the Hot Water Bottle Stay Warm?

Our hot water bottle cover is lined with 100% wool, a naturally insulating material that helps hold warmth for longer. Together with the outer silk cover, the wool lining creates a soft, comforting layer between the bottle and the body, allowing the warmth to feel gentle, even and soothing. It is designed to turn simple warmth into a calming evening ritual.

How Should I Fill My Hot Water Bottle Safely?

Untie the ribbon, open the silk cover at the top and unscrew the cap lid. Boil water and allow it to cool for around five minutes before filling the bottle, as boiling water should not be used.

Fill the bottle carefully to around two-thirds full, leaving enough space at the top to gently release any remaining air. Once the water rises to just below the opening, screw the cap lid back on tightly, close the silk cover and tie the ribbon again. Your hot water bottle is now ready to bring gentle warmth to your evening ritual.

Use a washing bag for extra protection and do not tumble dry. After washing, gently reshape the cover and allow it to air dry naturally away from direct sunlight.
