The Stow Sleep Mask was made to carry that feeling home.

The outside is crafted from a rare Italian blend of linen and wool tweed, sourced from surplus stock, made in small quantities and woven in warm oatmeal, deep rose, rust, golden yellow and olive, finished with a delicate soft pink edge. The inside, the part that rests against your skin, is made from 100% pure Mulberry silk, cool, smooth and exceptionally gentle around the eyes.

Together, they create complete darkness and the kind of deep, unhurried sleep that comes from being somewhere genuinely old and genuinely still.

Stow-on-the-Wold sits at the highest point of the Cotswolds, a medieval market town of honey-coloured stone, dry stone walls and rolling hills that seem to go on in every direction. The Italian tweed exterior carries the palette of that landscape woven into every thread, warm oatmeal and natural linen as the base, with flecks of deep rose, rust, golden yellow and olive running through it like the colours of an October afternoon. The soft pink edging adds a quiet, considered elegance that is entirely its own. Richly textured and made from surplus materials, it is a fabric that rewards close attention.
